Job description
Rough Fab AssemblerThe Rough Fab Assembler (RFA) is responsible for assembling equipment in preparation for wiring, testing, and final assembly. The RFA will fulfill many roles within the process of assembling electronics equipment. The RFA will assemble off-the-shelf OEM equipment and will integrate custom panels and custom brackets to create unique assemblies per project needs. The RFA will receive shipments, distribute parts, organize parts by project, ship assemblies, maintain warehouse, maintain tools and equipment used in the process, and fulfill any other tasks as required by supervisors and management.Rough Fab Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesRead and understand assembly drawingsEnsure that all required parts for assembly are availableMark cutting lines and drilling holes on materialsConfirm proper fitting and alignment of materials to be assembledMaintain production scheduleMaintain clean and organized work areaClean and maintain toolsAssemble parts in equipment racksPrepare packaged assemblies for shipmentReceive packagesLoad and ship packages and assembliesObey safety requirementsRequirementsProven work experience as a FabricatorGood dexterityAttention to detailGood organizational skillsAbility to lift 50 lbs.Clean work area and warehouseDriver's license with clean driving recordPhysical staminaAbility to read and comprehend assembly drawingsProficiency with operating the following hand tools:DrillScrew GunCircular SawJigsawAbility to operate a Fork LiftGood interpersonal skillsEOE/M/F/Veteran/Disabled
