Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and support applications written inRPG IV (ILE/Free format)andCOBOLon theIBM iSeries (AS/400)platform.
Analyze, design, and implement program changes to enhance business processes related tofreight management, routing, dispatch, warehousing, and scheduling.
Work closely with business analysts and end users to understand requirements and translate them into functional code.
Support daily batch jobs and data interfaces between internal and external systems.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Document system modifications, technical processes, and procedures.
Participate in system modernization initiatives, including potential migrations from legacy platforms.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Experience inRPG (RPG IV, ILE, Free Format)andCOBOL.
Knowledge ofIBM iSeries (AS/400)
Hands-on experience withbatch and real-time processing.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
