As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.

THE TEAM

The global Rosewood Residences team focuses on delivering distinctive, service-led branded residential experiences that enrich everyday living and foster meaningful connections between people and place. The team supports residential developments across pre-opening, stabilization, and ongoing operations, contributing to culture activation, operational excellence, and long-term community success. This role collaborates closely with on-site residential leaders, culinary teams, and Food & Beverage professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect Rosewood's commitment to refined, personalized service.

YOUR ROLE

As a Captain / Lead Server at Rosewood Residences Lido Key, you are the service leader on the floor, setting the standard for gracious hospitality, operational excellence, and personalized resident experiences. You lead by example, inspiring confidence in fellow associates while ensuring every dining experience reflects Rosewood's philosophy of anticipatory service.

More than an experienced server, you serve as a mentor, coach, and operational partner to the management team. You oversee the rhythm of service, support fellow associates, and ensure every interaction is executed with warmth, precision, and professionalism.

Working closely with culinary, beverage, and leadership teams, you help create memorable dining experiences while fostering meaningful relationships within our residential community.

Success in this role comes not only from delivering exceptional service yourself, but from elevating the performance of the entire team, anticipating resident needs, and ensuring every dining experience consistently exceeds expectations.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE

Lead dining room service by setting the example for Rosewood standards of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Deliver personalized, anticipatory dining service while recognizing resident preferences and creating meaningful relationships.

Guide residents and guests through food, wine, cocktail, and beverage selections with confidence and expertise.

Coordinate the flow of service between culinary, bar, and dining room teams to ensure seamless execution.

Support daily pre-shift preparation, station readiness, and dining room presentation to maintain exceptional operational standards.

Mentor, coach, and assist fellow service associates, providing guidance and support throughout service.

Monitor service quality, table pacing, guest satisfaction, and overall dining room operations while proactively resolving opportunities for service recovery.

Assist leadership with training new associates and reinforcing Rosewood service standards through daily example.

Ensure accurate operation of the POS system and maintain attention to billing accuracy and service details.

Position requires prolonged standing and walking for extended periods, carrying trays and service equipment, lifting and transporting dining materials, and maintaining an active leadership presence throughout the dining room.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

You bring significant experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, private clubs, or other refined hospitality environments.

You possess advanced knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, Champagne, and luxury dining etiquette.

You naturally lead by example and enjoy mentoring and supporting fellow hospitality professionals.

You demonstrate exceptional organizational skills while remaining calm and composed in fast-paced service environments.

You possess outstanding communication skills and confidently build genuine relationships with discerning residents and guests.

You have a passion for developing others while continually refining your own knowledge of hospitality, food, wine, and beverage.

Leadership experience, formal service training, wine certifications, or luxury hospitality experience are highly valued.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard and valued. We're a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture, and geography of our destinations. We're not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
