Respiratory Therapist
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 07:00-19:00
Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
License: State RRT License
Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS
Description: Unit staffing includes a Director, Manager, 1 Supervisor/Charge Therapist per shift, and regular staff. Type of equipment includes High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servos, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers. Documentation system used is Meditech. Floating policy allows for coverage of regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc. Candidates with previous Meditech experience will be considered first. Current NICU/PICU experience is needed. Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery. The best personality fit is a team player, critical thinker, patient care-focused, adaptable to change, and collaborative in nature. Dress code requires light gray uniforms. Recognized as a tertiary care and teaching facility, with a Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center and a Level 3 NICU.
