Overview: SIGN ON BONUS OF UP TO $10,000 AVAILABLE
Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.
Responsibilities: Performs patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery, blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintenance and management of equipment and patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas. Qualifications: Education
Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required
Work Experience
Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level required.
Licenses and Certifications
RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
ACLS Upon Hire Required
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Upon Hire
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
