Registered/ Certified Respiratory Therapist - Oviedo, FL
Location : Oviedo, FL 32765
Pay : Min: $28- Mid to Max: (12+ years of experience): $35-$40 an HR
Shift : Days/ Nights
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. As a vital part of the patient care team, the Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
What qualifications you will need: 1 year of RRT experience required (would like to see L&D or critical care experience). *CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) does not qualify.
Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
(NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
Associate Degree
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
(RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
