In this essential role, you'll ensure food safety and product excellence by following strict GMP and HACCP standards while processing, packaging, and preparing materials with precision. If you're reliable, quick on your feet, and thrive in a cool, fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to be part of a team that values quality, safety, and commitment to excellence.Production Associate Responsibilities:Reports to assigned line at the start of the shift ready to workRemoves Ready-to-Eat (RTE) products from cooler or warehouseCuts RTE product with cheese slicing machine, de-linker, stick cutter or scissorsPlaces RTE product into unit packagingApplies stickers by hand to packagesPlaces RTE product in a bag, caddy or case and puts on palletMoves finished pallet with pallet jack into warehouseRequirements for Production Associate:Able to stand, walk, reach, bend, 50-100% of shiftAble to lift up to 10-25lb occasionally and up to 50-100lbs rarelyAble to push/pull up to 50-75lbsAble to use hands repetitivelyAble to work in 35-40 degrees environmentsAble to tolerate the smell of raw meat, cheese, and various spicesAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to be flexible and responsive to changing production needsKnowledgeable on basic mathematical skillsAble to follow verbal and written directionsIND050 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
