Job description
Leggett & Platt in Morris, IL is seeking a Calender Operator to monitor and adjust the calender and equipment so rubber sheets remain wrinkle-free and at the proper thickness. You will keep the Calender Daily Log with running speeds, gauge, and adjustments, and consult the Product Specification Sheet for speeds, backing requirements, and product weights.
You will set water valves or digital controls, prepare backing rolls, and assist with strip feed.
