Job DescriptionRural Health Care Physician – Philip, SD \ N
A Rural HealthCare Physician provides comprehensive medical care across a wide range of patient needs, often serving as the primary point of contact within the community. This role requires a broad clinical skillset, adaptability, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care in diverse and dynamic environments.\ N
Key Responsibilities \ N
Clinical Duties
\ N Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses in an outpatient setting
\ N Provide comprehensive primary care across all age groups
\ N Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care as needed
\ N Prescribe and manage medications effectively
\ N Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
\ N Perform minor procedures typically handled by specialists in larger settings
\ N Deliver preventive careand counsel patients on nutrition, hygiene, and overall health maintenance
\ N Community & Administrative Responsibilities
\ N Act as a healthcare leader and advocate within the community
\ N Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals
\ N Support and oversee community health programs and initiatives
\ N Develop and implement clinical guidelines and care protocols
\ N Provide health education and promote wellness initiatives
\ N Assist in managing day-to-day healthcare operations
\ N Professional & Interpersonal Expectations
\ N Build strong, long-termrelationships with patients and families
\ N Demonstrate adaptability and a broad clinical skillset to meet diverse healthcare needs
\ N Maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries

Compensation & Benefits \ N
Salary Range:
$230,000 – $300,000 annually (based on experience)
