Camping World is seeking a Service Technician for our growing team.
nWe are ideally looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators and coach body repairs. Someone who is passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems would be ideal. A successful Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World will pay to certify individuals not already certified. nWhat You’ll Do:
nnnProvide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers
n
nnPerform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
n
nnTrack all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
n
nnKeep supervisor appraised of work progress
n
nnEnsure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee
n
nnMaintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
n
n nWhat You'll Need to Have for the Role:
nnnCertification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience
n
nnMinimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
n
nnRVIA certification helpful but not required RVIA certification helpful but not required
n
nnPotential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
n
nnPossible exposure to environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
n
nnProlonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling and bending
n
nnMust furnish own hand/shop tools
n
nnMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
n
nnValid driver's license preferred
n
nnMay lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
n
nnProlonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
n
nnExposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
n
nnEnvironmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness

nThe pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.

nPay Range:
n$22.55-$53.48 Hourly
