nAbout the Role
nThe Engagement Director is a senior leader responsible for account-level ownership, strategic client partnership, and overall success of a portfolio of RWD engagements. This role combines executive relationship management, data-driven advisory, and delivery oversight to ensure clients realize sustained value from Norstella’s Real-World Data solutions.
nYou will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, guiding how RWD (Open Claims, Closed Claims, EMR) can inform commercial, market access, and HEOR decisions, while overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable outcomes.
nKey Responsibilities & Requirements
nnnServe as the senior point of contact and account owner, building trusted relationships with VP- and C-level stakeholders
n
nnLead RWD strategy, success planning, and long-term value realization across a portfolio of RWD engagements
n
nnOversee multiple concurrent engagements, ensuring delivery excellence, operational rigor, and consistent client outcomes
n
nnProvide strategic data advisory, translating RWD into actionable insights and guiding data selection and analytics approaches
n
nnLead risk management and escalation resolution across delivery workstreams
n
nnCollaborate with product, data, and analytics teams to enhance solutions and improve scalability
n
nnMentor and lead Engagement Managers and cross-functional teams, fostering strong collaboration and development
n
nnAll other duties, as assigned
n
n nQualifications
nnnMaster’s or PhD in life sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, or related field
n
nn10–14+ years of experience in RWD, life sciences analytics, or consulting
n
nn5+ years leading client accounts or large-scale engagements
n
nnDeep expertise in Open Claims, Closed Claims, and EMR data
n
nnStrong domain knowledge in commercial, market access, HEOR, and/or epidemiology
n
nnProven ability to engage executive stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes
n
nnExperience managing cross-functional teams and complex delivery environments
n
nnProficiency with SQL/data structures sufficient to guide technical discussions

nThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $240,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
