Job Title
(S) Accounts Receivable Representative
Overview
Keeps track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding invoices. Processes payments on balances due. Conducts auditing for receivables. Answers customer questions via email and phone. Investigates missing or incomplete documentation to meet billing requirements.
Typical Functions
Reaches out to past due accounts regularly.
Logs results of collection efforts.
Records checks received in company accounting system.
Alerts supervisors of customers who aren't paying past due amounts.
Negotiates deadlines or payment plans when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
