Role Overview
Apply your SaaS contracting expertise to help train and evaluate AI systems used in real-world legal work. You will assess contract language, risk identification, negotiation approaches, and redlining workflows to improve the precision and legal judgment of AI-driven contract review tools.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
Review AI-generated responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback to improve performance and precision.
Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
Partner with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI contract review solutions.
Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
At least 3 years of in-house experience in technology transactions, including negotiation of MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
Deep experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology contracts.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical judgment.
Ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments and an interest in legal technology innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
Corporate law firm experience in M&A or fund formation for private equity firms.
Work Terms
Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
$80 to $110 per hour.
