Job description
Safety Compliance OfficerThe Safety Compliance Officer manages the Physical Environment Plans and Incident Reporting to ensure that all elements are addressed and keeps records of all pertinent documentation. He/She will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities. Focuses on prevention and needs to be diligent and analytical and support the creation of a healthy and safe workplace. Safety Compliance Officer provides guidance in the administration and implementation of the physical safety and patient safety program; coordinates safety activities with other departments; and provides administrative and technical advice to supervisors and employees to ensure safety control mechanisms are in place. Ensures compliance with all Federal and State safety laws, regulations, and safety procedures and processes. This position reports directly to the Director of Quality & Risk Management.
