Job description
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to maintain a safe workplace, ensure OSHA compliance, and promote a strong safety culture with a starting salary of $85,000 a year.
Responsibilities
Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and JSAs
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable safety regulations
Develop and provide employee safety training
Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses
Maintain safety policies, procedures, training records, and documentation
Monitor safety performance and recommend corrective actions
Oversee machine guarding, PPE, chemical storage, ergonomics, and material handling
Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire drills, and evacuation procedures
Assist with regulatory inspections and audits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree OSHA certification/training required
Previous safety experience preferred
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
