Safety & Pharmacovigilance Associate
Job Summary:
Piper Companies is seeking an S&P Associate to support a clinical research and drug safety organization. This position is hybrid with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote in Bethesda, MD .
Responsibilities for the S&P Associate include:
Manage and validate safety data, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the SAE process.
Collaborate with Safety Specialists, Physicians, Medical Monitors, and cross-functional teams to support safety operations.
Prepare data summaries, reports, and supporting materials for meetings and presentations.
Distribute safety reports, adverse event notifications, and other safety communications to stakeholders.
Maintain safety documentation, regulatory records, and safety box archives in compliance with project requirements.
Track safety report submissions, document receipt, and follow-up activities to support compliance timelines.
Perform MedDRA coding and process Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) when applicable.
Required Qualifications for the S&P Associate include: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.).
Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and customer service abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; SharePoint experience is a plus.
Knowledge of clinical trials, drug development, vaccine development, or pharmacovigilance is preferred.
Ability to manage documentation, compliance tracking, and safety communications in a regulated environment.
Compensation for the S&P Associate includes: Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually
