Sales Account Executive - Uncapped commission!
We are seeking a motivated Sales Account Executive to drive new business development and grow existing customer accounts within an assigned territory. This is a field-focused, customer-centric sales role ideal for someone with experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or B2B sales .
The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, managing a sales pipeline, and achieving defined sales and growth targets.
This is an active field sales position, with 1 day in office and 2-3 days per week spent meeting with customers and prospects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business across ocean freight, air freight, customs brokerage, and warehousing services.
Prospect for new customers, generate leads, and develop sales opportunities.
Build, maintain, and manage an active sales pipeline.
Identify opportunities within target industries and vertical markets.
Grow revenue and sales within an existing book of business.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through conversion.
Partner with Operations teams to retain existing customers and secure new business.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to address customer requirements and service-related issues.
Conduct regular customer and prospect visits, spending a minimum of 3 days per week in the field .
Achieve established sales, revenue, and territory growth targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or : 3+ years of field sales experience, or 5+ years of operational experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, customs operations, supply chain management, import/export, or a related field.
2–3 years of customer service experience preferred.
General knowledge of freight forwarding and international logistics .
Must have a local book of business
Strong sales, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver's license required.
Willingness to travel approximately 20% outside the assigned territory .
