Role Description The Sales Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bondurant, IA, responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of insurance clients. This position involves proactively prospecting and generating leads, conducting needs assessments, and presenting insurance solutions that align with client objectives. The Sales Account Manager will manage ongoing client relationships, handle renewals, resolve service issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Daily activities include meeting with clients in person or by phone, preparing proposals and quotes, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining accurate account records, and following up on opportunities to grow existing accounts. The role requires consistent achievement of sales targets, adherence to regulatory and company policies, and active participation in local networking and community events to expand market presence.
Qualifications
Strong account management and lead generation skills, with the ability to build and grow a client portfolio.
Demonstrated customer service and customer satisfaction skills, focused on responsive and solution-oriented support.
Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients and colleagues.
Proven ability to meet sales goals, negotiate effectively, and manage a structured sales pipeline.
Basic understanding of insurance products and willingness to learn industry-specific regulations and practices.
Comfort working in an on-site environment, collaborating with team members and engaging with local clients.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up.
High school diploma or equivalent required;
additional education orrelevant certifications in business or insurance are beneficial.
Prior experience in sales, insurance, or financial services is preferred but not strictly required.
