Join us.ATI is seeking to hire a Sales and Marketing Manager to represent our Specialty Rolled Products Business Unit. This role will be focused on the Aerospace and Defense markets and be based in the Pittsburgh Metro-region in Natrona Heights, PA.This role will operate in an engineering-intensive environment as the main point of contact for customer engineering teams as well as internal process and product engineering teams. Candidates with a background in materials science, chemical engineering, or other technical field focused within the manufacturing industry are encouraged to apply.This position will be responsible for the execution and positioning to meet the monthly estimate and business plan objectives and will also have responsibility for driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our internal and external customer service model. Also responsible for leading the day-to-day tactical responsibilities of the Aerospace & Defense Account Representatives, including on-going training for the team. Serves as a liaison between the Company and existing and potential Customers.Essential FunctionsMonitor & report progress on sales targets. Identify and address barriers to achieving our estimatesIdentify and implement improvements in the sales administration processEstablish and improve relationships with strategic A&D customers.Use customer feedback to generate ideas for new growth opportunities and service expectationsAccountable for inventory management which includes but not limited to ownership of the stock request approval, and adherence to Make & Hold programsInvestigate and resolve customer partial payments. Provide information for pricing claims and denial lettersOrder entry oversight; review for accuracyProvide status for customer orders and detailed information to the customerRelease material to ship and provide "Must Ship Notices" to the traffic unit when requiredContinue to develop, standardize, and maintain our on-boarding and on-going training programAllocate resources and assign accounts as necessaryResponsible for quote execution and export complianceProvide support to the field sales team, marketing, logistics, supply chain, and technical services organizations as needed
