Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $30.00 per hour
Position Overview
The Sales Associate will deliver an exceptional and personalized shopping experience by leveraging strong product knowledge and relationship-building skills. This role focuses on engaging clients, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. The Sales Associate will collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals while ensuring a high standard of service and professionalism. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
Deliver an elevated, personalized customer experience through strong product knowledge and relationship building.
Proactively engage with customers on the sales floor and confidently initiate conversations.
Build and maintain a loyal client base through thoughtful, consistent clienteling.
Follow up with clients regarding new arrivals, product recommendations, and special occasions.
Assist customers in finding products that align with their personal style, needs, and preferences.
Develop knowledge of the store's brands, collections, and product offerings.
Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
Support daily store operations and collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals.
Take initiative to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and support the team.
Contribute to a warm, personable, and service-oriented store environment.
Required Experience/Skills
3+ years of experience in luxury, high-end, or contemporary retail sales.
Proven experience in clienteling and building lasting customer relationships.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Warm, approachable, and polished demeanor.
Self-motivated, reliable, and willing to take initiative without extensive direction.
Strong sales skills and the ability to confidently recommend products to clients.
Preferred Experience/Skills
Experience in a multi-brand retail environment.
Background in contemporary or luxury women's retail, children's retail, or a similar high-end customer service setting.
Strong knowledge of fashion, brands, and product offerings across different designers and markets.
Experience providing personalized styling or product recommendations.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
Additional coursework or certifications in fashion merchandising or retail sales is a plus.
