Job description
Type: Part-time or full-time, depending on pipeline volume (start part-time, e.g., 20–25 hrs/week) Reports to: CEO Location: In Person (some travel expected)
About the role
This role will primarily work with MP Consulting’s current outside sales reps - meeting regularly to discuss leads, track KPIs and keep the sales reps updated with the latest content and service offerings. The resource will also support sales pipeline efforts by managing opportunities, coordinating proposals and tracking leads.
What you'll do
- Log opportunities, keep pipeline stages current, and flag stalled deals
- Coordinate proposal development — assemble templates, past examples, and content from team into a first draft, then manage revisions and formatting through to a client-ready document
- Track and manage response deadlines for RFPs and inbound requests
- Prepare leads for sales meetings (research the prospect, pull relevant case studies, draft agendas)
- Schedule and coordinate discovery calls, follow-ups, and pipeline review meetings
- Maintain a library of reusable proposal content, case studies, and pricing templates
- Run a weekly pipeline review with leads and produce a simple pipeline report
- Develop and support light outbound efforts (e.g., maintaining target account lists, coordinating follow-up sequences)
- Work closely with outside sales reps to provide latest content and service offerings to their team. Receive KPIs and provide reporting to internal teams.
- Coordinate with the marketing team so marketing content and case studies feed directly into proposals and outreach
- Support events as needed
Experience
- 2+ years in sales operations, business development support, or proposal coordination; professional services or B2B preferred
- Experience with Monday.com or similar tool
- Comfortable working in a CRM tool
- Strong writing and formatting skills for proposals and client-facing documents
- Highly organized, able to track multiple deadlines and follow up without being asked
