Sales & Restoration Business Development RepresentativeVoda Cleaning & Restoration of Sarasota is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our presence throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties. At Voda, our business is built on relationships, responsiveness, and doing the right thing for our customers and referral partners. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, meeting people, building trust, and turning those relationships into long-term business. This role will focus on developing strong referral partnerships with plumbers, property managers, insurance professionals, real estate professionals, builders, home inspectors, and other local businesses that regularly encounter water damage, mold, and property restoration needs. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk sales position. You will be networking, visiting referral partners, attending community events, following up on opportunities, visiting job sites, and working closely with our operations team to make sure the relationships you build are well taken care of. The position offers a base salary plus uncapped commission, allowing your earning potential to grow as the referral network and book of business you build continues to produce.What You'll DoBuild Relationships That LastDevelop and maintain relationships with plumbers, property managers, insurance professionals, Realtors, builders, home inspectors, and other referral partners throughout our local market.Be Active in the CommunityRepresent Voda at networking groups, association meetings, community events, office visits, one-on-one meetings, and other opportunities to build our local presence.Generate New BusinessIdentify new referral partners, create opportunities, consistently follow up, and turn relationships into restoration, remediation, and cleaning opportunities.Take Care of Your AccountsStay connected with referral partners after the introduction. Make sure they know what is happening with the customers they send us and help create an experience that makes them confident referring Voda again.Support the Sales ProcessRespond to opportunities, visit properties when appropriate, perform walkthroughs, communicate our services and process, and help customers and referral partners understand the next steps.Work as One TeamSales and operations work together at Voda. During major storms, emergency events, or unusually high restoration volume, you may be asked to assist our operations team in the field. We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves when the team needs them.Compensation & Earning PotentialBase Salary: $45,000 per yearCommission: Uncapped commission on qualifying closed restoration and remediation business.Year 1 Target Earnings: $60,000–$75,000 OTE This role is designed for long-term earning growth. During your first year, much of your focus will be on developing relationships, establishing trust, and building a strong network of referral partners throughout the community. As those relationships begin producing repeat business, your earning potential grows. The accounts you develop don't disappear at the end of the year. You'll continue building on that foundation while adding new relationships to your network.There is no commission ceiling. The more your network grows and produces, the greater your opportunity to earn.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is:Naturally comfortable meeting new people and building relationshipsSelf-motivated and able to manage their own sales activity and follow-upExperienced in B2B, outside, field, or relationship-based salesComfortable walking into businesses, making introductions, and creating opportunitiesOrganized and consistent with follow-up and account managementA strong communicator who can represent Voda professionally in the communityComfortable visiting active restoration projects and communicating with homeowners and business partnersWilling to jump in and help the team when circumstances require itMotivated by both individual earning potential and helping grow a local businessExperience in restoration, construction, property management, insurance, plumbing, real estate, or other home-service industries is a strong plus, but the ability to build genuine relationships and consistently follow through is just as important.
