Comfort ConsultantThis is commission-compensated role with no cap on earning potential. Expectation is $100k+We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our team and represent the company in selling residential heating and cooling systems to homeowners and to help promote the business through business development activities to increase market penetration. The Comfort Consultant will employ a no-pressure sales process, execute the role with integrity, respond quickly to leads obtained by the company, and will generate his or her own leads through community and business networking engagements. The successful candidate will have to be self-motivated, empathetic to customers needing a system, and be able to work independently.Responsibilities:Work safely following company proceduresSeek out and participate in business networking opportunities such as Chamber of Commerce and/or BNIEvaluate residential change-out or replacement needs to offer appropriate equipment and accessory work scopeDemonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiorsProperly document and maintain equipment replacement scope forms and estimates in digital platformStay current and competent in the sales processMaintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicleAny other assigned duties as directed by managementEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum of 5 years experience in Heating and Cooling SalesKey Competencies:Effective written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of electrical, plumbing, frequently encountered in support of HVAC systemsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksSelf-Motivated but able to take direction and be part of a teamHonest and dependableValid, insurable driver's license, pass a drug screening and background checkPerks:Accident Insurance and group access to life, short-term disability, dental, and vision401(k) retirement plan with company matchCompany-paid professional development and trainingPositive and supportive work environment
