Sales Coordinator
Location: Southfield, MI
Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid (Monday/Friday Remote, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday In-Office)
Contract Details
Position Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 12 months
Contract to Hire: Yes — potential for conversion to permanent employment
Pay Rate: $25.00–$30.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by managing assigned responsibilities, completing sales activities, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, review, and process customer purchase contracts, verifying accuracy and completeness for acceptance.
Maintain customer price lists in Oracle and SAP systems.
Manage prototype purchase orders, collaborating with other departments (sales, credit, engineering, plant) and customer to ensure timely delivery of products.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Analyze data to identify pricing opportunities.
Support the sales team in achieving its targets and goals.
Required Skills
Proficiency in computer systems and software, particularly Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to learn new systems and adapt to a fast-changing environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred Skills
Experience with SharePoint, SAP, and Oracle
Knowledge of sales practices
Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn new software applications quickly
Education Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent 1–3 years of experience as a sales coordinator, customer service, or administrative role
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
Required Experience
1–3 years of experience in a sales coordinator, customer service, or administrative role (in lieu of Associate's degree)
