Position Overview
A high-growth, privately held SaaS company on Long Island is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its dynamic sales team in a newly created role driven by growth. Its platform helps more than 600 public-sector organizations streamline operations and serve their communities more efficiently, and it was named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. In this role, you will generate leads, book demos, and build the early-stage pipeline that drives new business. Key Responsibilities
Develop new and existing territories by generating qualified leads and cultivating early-stage opportunities
Present the value proposition to prospects, overcoming objections and answering competitive questions
Schedule demos with prospects to keep the Account Executive pipeline full
Drive daily outreach through cold calling and emailing to prospects across multiple time zones
Track all prospecting activity in Salesforce.com
Manage administrative tasks that keep sales operations running smoothly
Attend trade shows and industry events, with minimal travel
Qualifications
1 to 3 years of corporate office experience in a sales, business development, or lead generation role
B2B tech or SaaS experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Salesforce.com is a plus
Working knowledge of MS Office is a plus
Familiarity with Zoom is a plus
