Sales EngineerKlima New Jersey (KNJ) - A member of the AIR Control Concepts family. We represent the best-in-class HVAC manufacturers and provide strategic equipment solutions that meet the high standards of consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, building owners, and end-users. As a key player in the Klima Group, our Northern NJ office is expanding to meet growing demand and we're looking for a seasoned sales engineer ready to lead, influence, and deliver. This Sales engineer position offers a high-performance culture with the support and tools to help you succeed, Strong brand reputation and a line card that sells itself and a clear path to top-tier earnings: $200K–$300K+ (with no cap on commission).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Own the Territory: Manage and expand a book of business with established consulting engineers, design-build contractors, and key decision-makers across the Northern NJ market.Engineer the Win: Analyze project specifications, select optimal equipment, and develop engineered solutions that meet both performance and budget goals.Act as a Strategic Advisor: Guide customers through complex HVAC applications with a consultative approach. Deliver clarity, confidence, and value throughout every phase of the buying cycle.Deliver the Full Klima Experience: Collaborate with our inside application and estimating teams to ensure seamless proposals and execution.Promote and Educate: Represent Klima and our manufacturers through presentations, industry events, and targeted technical discussions.Drive Results: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets with a focus on long-term client relationships, not transactional wins.Experience and Requirements:5+ years of proven success in HVAC equipment sales (preferably in a manufacturer's rep or mechanical sales environment)Strong relationships in the North Jersey engineering or contracting communityDeep understanding of HVAC systems, building design, and mechanical constructionTechnical acumen with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and clearlyBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Sciences, or Business (or equivalent experience)Self-motivated, accountable, and driven by performanceBenefits: We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including:Health & Wellness – Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage to support your well-being.Financial Security – 401(k) retirement plan with company match and short/long-term disability coverage.Work-Life Balance – Paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and an employee assistance program (EAP).Professional Development – Ongoing training opportunities and support for continuing education.The Company provides equal employment opportunity in accordance with applicable laws and prohibits discrimination and harassment.
