By joining us, you don't just become part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue our rich legacy that started back in 1874.Your Main ResponsibilitiesProvide timely and professional sales engineering for large-scale project configurations, ensuring compliance with customer specifications at a competitive cost.Leverage disciplined value engineering to optimize project pricing and increase bid success rates.Bid document review and analysis: Conduct project bid reviews and analyses to support Sales Managers and FO in evaluating strategic importance and probability of win.Support client engagement, bid preparation and submission: Support Sales Managers and FO in client engagement, including preparation of budgetary quotations, technical configurations, traffic analysis, and customized cost calculations.Continuous post project award support: Coordinate and lead cross-functional kick-off meetings for awarded projects involving HQ support teams to communicate technical complexities, risks, and execution challenges early in the project lifecycle.Tools and product development: Continuously contribute input to product solutions and offerings, driving optimization of MOD processes and tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and competitiveness.What You BringEducation: Bachelors Degree: Engineering, Architecture or other related fieldExperience: 3-5 years of experience with Elevator industry knowledge preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Engineering understanding (mechanical and electrical; understanding of layouts), Analytical competency (data mining, problem analysis; strong Excel skills), Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Work in a quantitative or business-related capacity, such as consulting, strategy, engineering, etc., MS Office with strong emphasis on advanced MS Excel proficiency, Experience and knowledge of Schindler products and configurators (myLeegoo/LBLC, Quotation Management, CADRE, Camos).Travel/Physical/Other: Approx. 20% travel, Problem solving skills or lean six sigma (preferred), A high level of independent work and initiative as well as strong teamwork and communication skills (required), Structured and independent work approach (required), Experience in customer relationship management is valuable (preferred).What's In It For You?Fully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include variable incentives or benefits.
