European Sales EngineerThe Acute Care Technology division of ZOLL Medical Corporation develops and supplies innovative, life-saving products and software solutions worldwide for emergency services, hospitals, authorities, and the military. Products include AEDs, trauma kits, ventilators, temperature regulation solutions, and much more. Our dedicated employees are proud to commit to improving treatment outcomes while providing top-notch customer service.This is a remote position with travel required approximately 50% within Europe, mainly in Western Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg.Fluent knowledge of German and very good English are required.Job Description: As a European Sales Engineer at ZOLL Medical, you will be a technical expert with direct customer contact. You will act as a bridge between the company’s technologies and customers, helping them understand their value and ensuring a smooth sales process. You will work closely with ZOLL Medical’s direct sales team (hospitals and emergency services) and our distributor network to support the sales growth of ZOLL Code Data throughout the sales process. While sales representatives handle all commercial aspects, you will take on all technical aspects as a sales engineer.Required Experience and Soft SkillsAt least three years of experience with SaaS solutions (Software as a Service)In-depth knowledge of networks, including firewalls and certificatesExperience with data-based solutions and the integration of third-party or external systemsPassion for understanding technical contexts and solving customer problemsExperience in matrix organizations and working with CRM systemsStrong communication skills: ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to different audiences – from end-users to C-level decision-makersAdvanced technical skills and problem-solving ability to analyze customer requirements, identify challenges, and develop appropriate solutionsPresentation skills: ability to conduct convincing and informative product demonstrations and presentationsExperience in supporting a sales organization with a focus on complex enterprise software and hardware solutionsExperience in selling software and/or medical capital goodsWillingness to travel regularly within sales regions (approx. 50%), starting from the home office
