Job description
Sales Development ManagerThis position is primarily responsible for sales development, management, satisfaction, and order fulfillment in line with mutually defined sales goals and expectations.Core Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:Provides input and direction for creating strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products.Delivers sales presentations to clients and prospects.Meets with clients and prospects to maintain or develop relationships, negotiating and order booking.Coordinates liaison to Sales Coordinator, manufacturing facilities, HQ, and other sales-related units.Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.Provides input and direction for product research and development consideration.Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.Perform any other duties assigned or delegated by the manager.Competencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:AnalyticalProblem SolvingProject ManagementTechnical SkillsCustomer ServiceInterpersonal SkillsOral CommunicationWritten CommunicationTeamworkVisionary LeadershipChange ManagementDelegationLeadershipQuality ManagementBusiness AcumenCost ConsciousnessDiversityEthicsOrganizational SupportStrategic ThinkingJudgmentMotivationPlanning/OrganizingProfessionalismQualityQuantitySafety and SecurityAdaptabilityAttendance/PunctualityDependabilityInitiativeInnovationQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
