Inside Sales EngineerNailor Industries, Inc. is an industry leading global manufacturer of commercial HVAC air distribution and control products. We are seeking a suitably qualified Inside Sales Engineer for our subsidiary, Thermal Corporation, a manufacturer of Custom Air Handler Units. The successful candidate will interact with our Houston management team and be the direct line of communication to our sales representative network. The Inside Sales Engineer will be a key player in growing the Thermal Corp business and improving the customer experience.The Inside Sales Engineer purpose is to facilitate, prepare, and execute all aspects of the sales cycle from RFQ to delivery with specific focus to the Custom Air Handler Units. Is the intermediary between our sales representative network working with internal departments Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing Teams to ensure delivery of timely and accurate quotations to help meet our corporate objectives.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide immediate first response to all quality related inquiries and reports from customers.Participate in representative and engineering training sessions.Builds rapport with the Sales Rep, network and develops customer relationships to become a dependable resource to assist the Sales Representatives.Understands the functionality of Air Handler Units and the components utilized to build a complete unit.Prepare project quotations requested from our field sales groups in accordance to defined pricing strategies, present quotation to customer, and upon acceptance of quotation, provide technical document submittals as required.Promote Thermal Corporation as a partner to provide solutions for new applications.Ensure customer satisfaction by managing the entire sales process and the relationship between Thermal and our Partners and customers.Responsible for delivering sales presentations and collecting information about the customer to assist in the development of marketing plans and sales strategies to increase sales.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field (preferred).Some prior commercial HVAC systems experience preferred. Involvement across areas like engineering, installation/start-up, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, technical sales, or customer service is a plus.Demonstrated knowledge of commercial HVAC control systemsAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans, schedules, technical drawings, and contract specifications.Specific Skills RequirementsExcellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills.Ability to interact well with customers on the phone and in person is a must.Strong interpersonal skills.Proven problem solving and analytic skills.Strong organizational skills.Demonstrated computer-based skills.Familiarity with CAD software a plus.Physical DemandsMove, transport and handle equipment as necessary at tradeshows, lab testing or for presentations.
