Role Description
The Sales Lead is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Lehi, UT, responsible for driving store sales while delivering an engaging and inclusive customer experience. In this role, the Sales Lead supports daily floor operations, including welcoming customers, understanding their needs, styling outfits, and recommending products that reflect LOFT’s brand and values. The Sales Lead helps guide associates through coaching and on‑the‑floor training, reinforcing selling behaviors, service standards, and product knowledge. This position assists with opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising updates, promotion execution, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor and fitting room area. The Sales Lead also collaborates with store leadership to meet sales goals, support community and brand initiatives, and ensure consistent adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction, active listening, and the ability to give constructive feedback.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on creating welcoming experiences, resolving concerns, and building long‑term customer relationships.
Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including product knowledge, suggestive selling, and comfort working toward individual and store sales targets.
Candidates should possess Training and coaching skills to support associate development, reinforce selling standards, and promote a positive team culture.
Candidates should possess Sales Management‑related abilities such as leading by example on the sales floor, supporting daily operations, and partnering with store leaders on initiatives.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior retail or fashion sales experience, basic POS and cash‑handling skills, reliability with scheduling and attendance, and the ability to stand, walk, and move merchandise as required.
