Sales Messaging Director - Sales Messaging Intelligence
Position Summary
The Sales Messaging Director serves as the strategic owner of the GTM narrative across HRO, SBS, RS, and INS. This role partners with Sales Leadership, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales Operations, and AI teams to create evidence-based sales messaging that drives pipeline, seller effectiveness, and revenue growth. The role directly manages the Messaging Insights Analyst, and supports the Down Market.

Ensure each market segment has a clear, differentiated, evidence-based GTM narrative that sellers and AI tools consistently execute to create pipeline.

Sales messaging based on BU priorities
Seller deliverables including gaining access content, presentations and talk tracks
Alignment with Marketing and Product Marketing
How sellers use AI to drive messaging
Incorporation of vertical, persona, product and competitor insights
How They Operate
Primary partner to BU Sales Leadership
Lead quarterly BU Messaging Performance Reviews with Sales Ops
Partner with Insights Analyst to convert insights into decisions and actions
People leader for the Insights Analyst
Partner with AI Specialists to ensure AI reflects the segment narrative
Success Measures
Pipeline and conversion lift
Seller adoption of deliverables
BU leader confidence and alignment
Performance and development of the Insights Analyst
Key Responsibilities
Own Down Market GTM messaging strategy
Develop messaging architecture and value propositions
Create talk tracks, presentations, objection handling and sales plays
Align sales messaging with business priorities and campaigns
Translate market insights into actionable messaging
Drive AI messaging alignment and seller adoption
Lead cross-functional stakeholder alignment
10-15% travel required
Required Qualifications
A college degree is nice to have but not required. What’s more important is having the skills to do the job. Other forms of acceptable experience include:
7+ years in sales enablement, sales strategy, product marketing, messaging or related disciplines
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience leveraging insights and analytics to influence GTM strategy
Preferred Qualifications
People leadership experience preferred
Experience with AI-enabled selling tools and modern sales technologies preferred
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
The compensation for this role is USD $114,500.00 - USD $213,500.00 / Year*
Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
