Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the backbone of our sales department, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales processes from lead generation through to customer onboarding and order fulfillment. This role is crucial for improving sales productivity, managing our sales data, and providing outstanding support to both our sales team and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
CRM and Data Management:
Manage and maintain the accuracy of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including updating customer information and managing user access.
Develop and generate sales reports and dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and support strategic decision-making.
Sales Process and Enablement:
Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in the sales process to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
Provide direct support to the sales team by qualifying incoming leads, preparing sales materials, and handling administrative tasks.
Assist in the onboarding and continuous training of sales representatives on our CRM, tools, and processes.
Manage and optimize the sales technology stack to ensure effective utilization.
Customer Onboarding and Order Fulfillment:
Lead the customer onboarding process after a sale is closed, ensuring a smooth transition and positive customer experience.
Act as a liaison between the sales team and internal departments to support the successful delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.
Track order statuses and proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve any potential issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, finance, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and a seamless end-to-end customer journey.
Manage relationships with external vendors, including onboarding and contract management as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in a sales operations, sales support, or a similar role.
Strong proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Excel is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a talent for turning data into insights.
Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
