Job description

Sales Representative – Milwaukee, WI

About Trillium Construction Services

Trillium Construction Services is the construction recruiting division of the Trillium family of companies, with more than 25 years in the industry. Each year we place thousands of skilled tradespeople with contractors, on everything from short-term assignments to long-term projects. We have the resources of a national firm, a database of hundreds of thousands of qualified tradespeople, and recruiters who know construction. That lets us move fast when a project's labor needs change. Our job is simple: put the right people on the right projects so our clients stay on schedule and keep labor costs predictable. Trillium ranks in the top 1% of staffing firms in the U.S.

The role

We're hiring a Sales Representative to grow our team in our Milwaukee office loaction. You'll work out of our Waukesha office and own a territory, building a book of business with commercial and industrial contractors across the U.S.

Part of the job is hunting: finding new accounts, qualifying leads, getting in front of contractors by phone, email, and on jobsites, and earning their trust. The other part is keeping those accounts. That means learning each client's staffing needs, putting together proposals, following up on placements, and supporting the field employees we place with them. You'll report directly to the Sales Manager, who will train you and work alongside you as you build your book.

What you'll do

Prospect, qualify, and win new B2B accounts with commercial and industrial contractors

Learn each client's labor needs and present staffing solutions and proposals that fit their projects

Manage and grow existing client relationships

Work closely with our recruiters to match qualified tradespeople to open positions

Follow up on placements and support field employees to keep projects running smoothly

Track your activity, pipeline, and results in our CRM

What we offer

$50,000–$60,000 guaranteed

in year one (base plus uncapped commission)

Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage through BCBS

401(k) with company match

Paid time off plus 8 paid holidays

A real path to promotion. We promote from within, and many of our leaders started in entry-level seats.

Recognized nationally as a Best & Brightest Company to Work For

What we're looking for

A track record of hitting goals, whether in sales, service, athletics, or somewhere else you've competed

Organized and self-driven, with the discipline to manage your own pipeline and keep good records

Comfort picking up the phone, walking a jobsite, and building relationships from scratch

Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen, negotiate, and follow through

Experience in sales, staffing, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required

Familiarity with construction or the skilled trades, or a real interest in learning it fast

High school diploma or GED required (post-secondary education in business or a related field is a plus)

If you're competitive and want a career where the work you put in shows up in your paycheck and your title, we'd like to talk.
