Job description
Service Sales RepresentativeBased out of Fort Myers and reporting to the General Manager, the Service Sales Representative will sell HVAC services agreements and projects using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation by building, maintaining, and improving relationships with clients.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and how those needs could be metAnswers customers' questions about services, prices, availability, or termsPrepare service contracts for orders obtained, quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications using Salesforce and submit for processingEmphasize service features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of service capabilities and limitationsNegotiate prices or terms of service agreementsMaintain customer recordsVisit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote service salesDevelops and delivers sales presentations and closes salesParticipate in sales forecasting and planning meetingsTimely manage assigned sales budgetsWork with General Manager to resolve customer issuesDevelops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelinesPartner with business development group to identify prospective customersCollaborate with colleges to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing informationRequired Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or High School/Trade School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) and work experience of 3-5 years in service/sales position Competencies: Technical capacity, Customer focus, Communication proficiency, Innovative, Collaboration, Financial Management, Presentation skills, Attention to detail and ability to work independently, Personal computer skills, strong typing ability and knowledge of Microsoft OfficePhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
