Sales & Service Associate - FloatThe Sales & Service Associate - Float is the face of the branches — the one person a client can count on from start to finish. This role is built for someone who takes full ownership of the client relationship, exercises sound judgment in the moment, and knows how to get things done even when the path isn't perfectly defined. We're looking for a self-starter who is as comfortable identifying a sales opportunity as they are resolving a service issue, and who genuinely thrives on being the person clients call by name. Availability of traveling to all Branches is required.Essential Functions:Serve as the primary, go-to point of contact for clients — handling needs from the first hello to full resolutionBuild trusted, long-term relationships through consistent follow-through, genuine care, and white-glove serviceManage client interactions across all channels: in-person, phone, and written communicationActively listen for and recognize sales opportunities during every client interaction, whether inbound or outboundConduct outbound calls to existing and prospective clients to build relationships and uncover unmet needsPresent solutions with confidence and follow through to close — no handoffs, no dropped ballSupport branch leadership with daily operational tasks as needed.Navigate ambiguous situations with good judgment, balancing client needs with company guidelinesJob Qualifications:High School diploma; Associates degree preferred1–3 years of experience in a client-facing sales or service roleDetail-oriented with solid organizational skills; able to juggle multiple client needs without losing accuracyThe hourly rate range for this position is $25-33 per hour.About Northern Bank & Trust CompanyNorthern Bank is a full-service bank dedicated to providing practical, common sense financial solutions to help our customers live their lives and grow their businesses.
