Job description
Our client is a growing manufacturer serving the U.S. electrical infrastructure market and is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support customers nationwide. This role will provide technical sales support, and focus on quoting, pricing, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support independent sales representatives with quotes, pricing, bids, and customer requests
Provide technical and product information to customers and reps
Follow up on leads and active opportunities
Support proposals, contract reviews, and customer presentations
Build and maintain relationships with customers and sales representatives
Participate in customer visits, business meetings, and trade shows
Work with internal teams to support customer and sales needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, sales engineering, or a related environment
Experience in electrical, power, utility, industrial, manufacturing, or other technical industries is a plus
Ability to understand and communicate technical information
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel up to 40%
