Overview
First Citizens Bank has an incredible opportunity for a Sales Support Specialist (Commercial Lending Assistant). We are hiring banking professionals who have had proven success in their past careers, are self-motivated, and possess strong relationship building skills. This role is an integral part of our team, partnering with Commercial and/or Business Banking groups in the sales, servicing and management of clients and loan portfolios.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Service & Support - Uncovers sales opportunities through analysis, reporting, and daily support operations. Works directly with individuals to address issues and respond to inquiries. Determines target needs and provides resolution. May serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout sales process, and assists in calls or presentations intended to solicit business.
Documentation - Prepares documentation presented to clients. This may include proposals, service agreements, and implementation forms.
Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets financial data. Performs analysis to determine trends in market, product, or client information.
Product Specialist - Provides knowledge in area of work. Assists in process troubleshooting for both internal and external parties. May assist in creating and monitoring pricing of Bank products or services, including evaluating competitor products and making suggestions to enhance the attractiveness of Bank offerings.
Basic Qualifications :High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience in sales or lending support OR
Bachelor's Degree with experience in sales or lending support
Additional Requirements: Must have 1+ years of experience in banking , ideally in a lending-specific role
Experience with:Real Estate and UCC lending requirements
Assisting multiple bankers throughout the process
Working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Skills :Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and risk awareness in a banking environment
Strong ability to multitask
Professional written and verbal communication skills

Additional Information
If hired in Massachusetts, the base pay for this position is generally between $30.94 and $41.85. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
