Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Heavy Haul/Rigging Sales role based in Dover, OH, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities in heavy haul and rigging, while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts. Typical day-to-day activities include prospecting and outreach, preparing quotes, coordinating with operations and carriers on load planning, and ensuring that customer requirements are accurately communicated and met. The role also involves tracking shipments, resolving service issues, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. The individual will collaborate with internal teams to optimize pricing, manage risk, and support safe, compliant transportation solutions.
Qualifications
Experience in transportation, logistics, or freight sales, ideally with exposure to heavy haul and/or rigging operations.
Strong customer relationship management skills, including prospecting, account management, and negotiation capabilities.
Ability to understand basic technical and operational requirements for oversized loads, including routing, permits, and safety considerations.
Solid business communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional email writing, and confident phone presence.
Competence with common office and CRM software tools for tracking leads, managing opportunities, and documenting customer interactions.
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate among customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve service issues.
High level of organizational ability, attention to detail, and time management to handle multiple quotes, loads, and customer requests.
Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement from Dover, OH, and collaborate both in-office and remotely as needed. xhqgsiq
Prior experience in B2B sales or account management is preferred; industry-specific training or certifications are a plus.
