Salesforce Release Engineer

Who are we?

Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is a proud Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business based in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area providing management consulting services to federal agencies and organizations supporting the public sector. DIS offers exceptional client services in the areas of Strategic Communications and Integrated Marketing (SCIM), Information Technology (IT), and Enterprise Optimization (EO).

DIS is seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Release Engineer to manage and optimize release processes, ensuring smooth deployments and maintaining high-quality standards within our VA OMEGA Salesforce environments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain the integrity and quality of software releases.

Manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.

Debug and troubleshoot release-related issues.

Document and improve release processes and procedures.

Ensure adherence to release schedules and deliverables.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases.

Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience in release management or a similar role.

Experience managing releases in an Agile environment.

Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Knowledge of Salesforce release lifecycle and DevOps best practices.

Proficiency with Copado (Pipelines, User Stories, Back Promotions, Compliance Hub).

Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).

Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.

Familiarity with code quality tools (CodeScan, PMD).

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Copado Certifications (Fundamentals I/II, Developer, Administrator).

Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Administrator).

Physical

Frequently required to sit and work at desk/computer for extended periods of time of up to 8 hours a day.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Cognitive

Ability to learn new tasks.

Ability to maintain focus and complete tasks independently.

Ability to remember processes.

Ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
