Job description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Security Assessment Specialist to lead and execute comprehensive security assessments of Salesforce environments. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce security, identity and access management, integrations, application security, and security monitoring.
The ideal candidate will independently evaluate security controls, identify vulnerabilities and configuration gaps, validate findings, and develop actionable remediation recommendations. This individual will serve as a senior technical resource, ensuring assessment findings are accurate, risk-based, and clearly communicated to technical teams and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end security assessments of Salesforce environments.
Evaluate identity and authentication mechanisms, including Okta integration and single sign-on (SSO).
Review Salesforce access controls, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and Apex security.
Assess API security, third-party integrations, and AWS-based integration architectures.
Evaluate security logging, monitoring, audit trails, and incident response capabilities.
Identify security vulnerabilities, configuration weaknesses, and control gaps.
Validate findings and provide risk-based remediation recommendations.
Prepare comprehensive security assessment reports and communicate findings to technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Conduct production assessments using read-only access and perform hands-on validation in non-production environments.
Ensure assessment findings align with security best practices and enterprise security requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience conducting security assessments of complex Salesforce environments.
Knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
Experience with enterprise application security and third-party integrations.
Familiarity with security requirements in regulated industries.
Strong analytical, documentation, and technical presentation skills.
