Sales Representative – Electro-Mechanical Services
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Compensation: $75,000–$150,000 base salary + sales commissions
About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established electro-mechanical sales and service company serving customers throughout the Tri-State area. With decades of experience in the industry, the company specializes in new equipment sales as well as the service and repair of electric motors, pumps, fans, and controls for HVAC and industrial applications.
The company is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to develop new business while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
This position is based in Hackensack, New Jersey and requires regular travel to customer locations, account meetings, and job sites throughout the Tri-State area.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities
Research and contact prospective customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts
Visit customer facilities, accounts, and job sites on a daily basis
Work closely with office, service, and operations teams to support customers and grow accounts
Represent the company in a professional and personable manner
Qualifications
5–7 years of relevant industry experience
Self-starter with a strong drive to develop new business
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Dependable and capable of independently managing daily customer activity
Positive, team-oriented approach
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the organization
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $75,000–$150,000, depending on experience
