Company Description Work by Q LLC is a licensed, bonded, and insured Class A general contractor based in Northern Virginia with over 15 years of construction experience. The company manages residential projects of all sizes, including bathroom updates, home additions, and new home builds throughout Northern Virginia. Work by Q also delivers commercial construction services, overseeing projects such as office spaces, retail stores, and larger commercial buildings. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Fairfax County, VA. The Salesperson will identify and qualify prospective residential and commercial clients, conduct in-person and phone consultations, and present Work by Q’s construction services to meet client needs. Daily responsibilities include generating leads, managing a sales pipeline, preparing estimates with the project team, and following up on inquiries to close new business. The role involves coordinating site visits, collaborating with operations and project managers to ensure accurate scopes of work, and maintaining detailed records in the company’s CRM or tracking tools. The Salesperson will also nurture long-term relationships, support marketing initiatives, and represent the company professionally at local events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with experience managing a client pipeline and meeting revenue targets.
Candidates should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills for conducting consultations and building client relationships.
Candidates should possess basic construction or home improvement knowledge, with the ability to understand scopes of work and explain services clearly to clients.
Candidates should possess solid organizational and time-management skills, including experience with CRM systems or similar tools for tracking leads and activities.
Candidates should possess proficiency in using common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) and comfort working with digital documents and estimates.
Previous experience in construction sales, home improvement, or related fields is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site, travel locally within Fairfax County and Northern Virginia for client meetings and site visits, and hold a valid driver’s license.
High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
