Role Description The Salesperson role at DeLuca Vodka is a full-time, on-site position based in the Boise Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with retailers, bars, restaurants, and distributors to drive product placement and sales. Daily activities include prospecting new accounts, conducting in-person sales calls, presenting product features and benefits, and negotiating pricing and promotional opportunities. The Salesperson will manage account follow-ups, track sales performance, and ensure consistent brand visibility through merchandising and point-of-sale materials. This role also involves attending local events, tastings, and promotions to educate consumers, gather market feedback, and support the brand’s presence in the community.
Qualifications
Proven sales and account management skills, including cold calling, relationship building, and negotiating with on- and off-premise accounts.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain product features, brand story, and value to varied audiences.
Basic understanding of marketing and merchandising principles, including in-store displays, promotions, and event support.
Ability to work independently, manage a local territory, and prioritize visits, follow-ups, and reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity or prior experience in the beverage, spirits, or consumer packaged goods industry is highly beneficial.
Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and mobile applications to track sales activities and report results.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the Boise Metropolitan Area for on-site visits and events.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
