As a Sales Associate, you’ll be making our customer’s day, every day. Providing customers with an amazing experience as you help them with things like sizes or styles, purchases, or returns
Setting up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and all the latest fashions, as well as keeping a tidy and well-organised stockroom
Getting our products on to the shop floor and ensuring they’re all correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards
We love to delight our customers with amazing in store experiences and that starts with you! Ideally, you’ve got some experience working within a busy retail environment
The starting base hourly rate for this role is: $15
This role is eligible for a $0.50 increase at both 6 months and 1 year of continued employment at Primark.
This position requires the ability to constantly stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift, on hard- surface floors. The role also requires frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally participating in team lifts for items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Colleagues must constantly perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including handling and processing merchandise, operating cash registers or other point of sale systems, and using handheld devices. The position requires movement throughout the sales floor and stockroom, occasional use of stairs or ladders where applicable, and occasional work in varying temperatures, including in outdoor areas or storage spaces where applicable.
Depending on their assigned responsibilities, colleagues may receive training on the safe use of equipment such as balers, manual pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks, and may be required to operate such equipment when properly trained and authorized. In no circumstances are colleagues under 18 permitted to use balers, manual pallet jacks, or electric pallet jacks.
