nAbout the Role
nThis is a working Salon Manager / Lead Stylist role.
nYou will be actively styling and leading on the floor, especially during busy shifts, while managing the team’s energy, standards, and guest experience. You are the on-site leader during your shifts, trusted to make real-time decisions that keep the bar running smoothly for both guests and the team.
nWho You Are
nA licensed cosmetologist with strong, confident styling skills
nExperienced in blowouts, special occasion styling, makeup services, and hair extensions
nA positive, team-first leader who leads by example
nCalm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure
nComfortable giving direction, coaching teammates, and maintaining standards
nReliable, emotionally mature, and consistent
nFlexible and willing to work peak business times (especially Fridays & Saturdays)
nWhat You’ll Do
nActively style guests, including hair, makeup, and extension services
nLead the floor and keep services running smoothly and on time
nManage the floor and booking flow in real time, including adjusting appointments, making staffing cuts when appropriate, and ensuring proper coverage throughout each shift
nManage and support a team of stylists and makeup artists
nHelp with scheduling, light inventory oversight, and daily operations
nSet the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and guest experience
nAssist with onboarding and coaching new team members
nHandle guest concerns with confidence and care
nMaintain a clean, polished, and welcoming bar environment
nParticipate in Blo training and ongoing skill development
nYou Must Have
nAn active state cosmetology license
nSalon experience with hands-on makeup and extension services
nComfort working across multiple service types (hair + beauty)
nSome leadership, mentoring, or team-lead experience
nAvailability to work peak hours, including Fridays and Saturdays
nA genuine passion for beauty, people, and teamwork
nNon-Negotiables
nStrong attitude, reliability, and respect for team culture are required-technical skill without the right mindset will not be a fit.
nCompensation & Benefits
n$17 – $28 per hour, based on experience
