Hybrid – 3 days onsite
Salary:
$138,000 – $172,500/year + Annual Bonus
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Income & Franchise Tax Manager to manage state income tax compliance and consulting activities for multiple clients.
Responsibilities
Manage state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting projects.
Review and prepare state tax returns and related filings.
Perform tax research and prepare technical memos and client communications.
Assist clients with state tax audits.
Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.
Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff.
Support client relationships and business development activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
6+ years of progressive State Income Tax / SALT experience
Active California CPA license , OR active law license/JD, OR IPT certification
Strong state income and franchise tax knowledge
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work 3 days per week onsite in Los Angeles
