Job description
Join a fast-paced retail environment supporting seasonal product flow and sample management for a New York, NY onsite role. This 4-month contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable partnering across merchandising and brand teams to keep sample operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Track incoming samples to help ensure they are received on time for each seasonal flow Organize and maintain sample records so receiving information is accurate and easy to reference Communicate with merchandising partners regarding sample arrivals, delays, and related updates Build and maintain strong working relationships with brand assistants and internal stakeholders Prepare copy fact sheets using multiple systems and tools Support the team with additional projects as needed to help operations stay efficient
Skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage detailed records carefully Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams in a professional, collaborative manner Comfort working in multiple systems and learning new tools quickly Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to stay flexible and support changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
Previous experience supporting sample coordination, merchandising, or similar retail operations Familiarity with maintaining tracking logs or operational documentation Experience working with product or seasonal flow processes Strong relationship-building skills and a team-first mindset
