(excludes PRN Staff; Attendance and Performance considered)South Texas Community Living is now hiring Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN Caregiver staff positions in the San Antonio area to work with Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in a group home setting.This job involves the personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. The ideal candidate would have Caregiving, Direct Support and/or Direct Care, C.N.A. or Home Health experience. To support our population of individuals one must be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations.On the job Training provided!Shifts available :Full Time: Monday - Friday; Hours: 8AM - 5PM (SHL)Full Time: Monday - Friday; Hours: 8AM - 4PM (Day Program)Part Time : Saturday - Sunday; Hours: 8AM - 8PMPart Time : Saturday - Sunday; Hours : 8PM - 8AMOpportunity to get additional hours as you're willing.Caregiver Duties include :Assistance with Grooming and ToiletingAssistance with Meal Preparation and Mealtime MonitoringAssistance with Medication AdministrationHouse Cleaning (i.e., Sweeping, Mopping, Laundry etc.)Driving company vehiclesSpecialized DocumentationSupervision during recreational activitiesCommunication with outside family members and office staff.Benefits:Health Insurance (after 90 days)401K (after 1 year)Vacation (2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years)QualificationsValid and current Texas Driver's LicenseClear Background CheckClear DMV CheckHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of EducationNo confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled personNo history of Medicaid fraud.
