Sand BlasterOur customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Sand Blasters to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Sand Blaster, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing surfaces using sandblasting equipment.Responsibilities of the Sand Blaster:Use sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces of metal, wood, or other materialsSet up and operate sandblasting machines, adjusting pressure and material flow as neededSelect appropriate abrasive materials based on the surface and desired finishInspect surfaces before and after sandblasting to ensure quality and identify any defectsFollow all safety procedures, including wearing protective gear and ensuring proper ventilation in work areasPerform routine maintenance on sandblasting equipment, including cleaning and replacing parts as necessarySand Blaster Requirements and Qualifications:Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field preferredPay for Sand Blaster:$17.00 per hour.Sand Blaster Benefits:Health insurance.Paid time off.401k with company match.Paid weekly.Direct deposit.Paid training.Type:1st Shift, Full-timeSchedule:Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm.
